The visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the “Uz-Segang” joint venture

As part of his working visit to Fergana region, President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, became acquainted with the activities of the intensive orchards of the “Uz-Segang” Joint Venture located in Kuva District.
The Head of our state was presented with information about the company’s modern horticultural technologies, production of export-oriented products, as well as its sorting, storage, and logistics capabilities.
The President highly appreciated the company’s activities, noting that such projects play an important role in developing the agricultural potential of the country.
This visit to “Uz-Segang” symbolizes great responsibility and trust, marking the beginning of a new stage in expanding our operations and increasing both product quality and export volumes.
PROJECT OF NEW INDUSTRIAL ORCHARDS

“Uz-Segang” LLC JV is developing new industrial orchards based on drip irrigation technologies in Rakhmonaliyev area of the city of Quvasoy in Fergana Region.
To date, 400 hectares of cherry orchards have been established, and the company plans to expand the total area of industrial orchards to 2,000 hectares within the next five years.

The President held a meeting with entrepreneurs
On August 20, 2021, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held an open dialogue with the country’s entrepreneurs.
This event, which became the first of its kind, brought together leading and successful entrepreneurs operating across Uzbekistan. During the meeting, several entrepreneurs were recognized for their contributions to the development of the national economy, job creation, enhancement of export potential, and strengthening of international relations.

On June 5, 2021, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, A. Aripov, visited “Uz-Segang” LLC JV during his trip to the Fergana region.
During the visit, Prime Minister A. Aripov became acquainted with the company’s operations and export potential.
The work carried out, the established orchards, as well as current and future plans, were discussed.
As a result of the visit, two charter flights were organized from Fergana International Airport to South Korea for the export of cherries.

On June 5, 2020, President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited “Uz-Segang” LLC JV during his trip to Fergana Region.
During the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev became acquainted with the activities of the company.
The President gave instructions for the further development of the enterprise, paying special attention to ensuring a stable supply of raw materials. He also gave directives to allocate and consolidate orchards in the region and to establish new orchards and laboratories across Uzbekistan.
